Blanca Lleó - Madrid

She is Professor of Architectural Projects at the Higher Technical School of Architecture of the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid - UPM. Her studio has been working for over 25 years in outstanding residential projects such as the Mirador building and the Celosía building (with mvrdv). Blanca Lleó is Visiting Research at the Cambridge (UK) and Princeton Universities as well as Visiting Professor at the Rhode Island School of Design and the Cranbrook Academy of Art (USA). Her research on modern and contemporary housing is compiled in the books Informe Habitar [Inhabiting report] and Sueño de Habitar [The dream of inhabiting]. It was awarded the UPM Extraordinary Doctoral Prize, the 1st. Arquitesis Prize of the Caja de Arquitectos [Architects' savings bank], the COAM Prize and the Ibero-American Architecture  Biennial Prize.
