Germán Velázquez is an architect, Passivhaus designer and partner at VArquitectos since 2003. The studio has built over 10,000 dwellings since its foundation in 1972. It is the present national reference for passive or nearly zero-energy buildings at a national level. Several of their projects have obtained the Passivhaus certification, including among others: #29Soto, the first certified residential building in Spain, the Passivhaus consultancy for the certification of the Europa Congress Palace, or #361Bolueta, which is still in development but will be the world's highest Passivhaus-towers.
