Pablo Otaola (Bilbao 1953) is a civil engineer specialised in Transport and Urban Planning. Since June 2004, he is the General Manager of the Zorrotzaurre Management Commission, a public-private entity in charge of redeveloping an 84-hectare industrial site located at the Bilbao estuary. Previously, he was General Manager of Bilbao Ría 2000 [Bilbao Estuary 2000] (1993-2000) and afterwards, Deputy Director of IVAM (Valencia Institute of Modern Art).
